I was really surprised by it! *by K***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 20, 2019* Although this superstar product can be used as a cleanser or a masque, I use it only as a masque, so that is what this review is about. Don’t get me wrong---it is a great cleanser! But I prefer to use Sweetsations C’Perfect Foaming Cleanser as my daily “go to” and I use Phyto’me Nectar as my weekly indulgence.I apply it while my face is dry. The instructions say to use 1 to 2 pumps, but I found that I only need 1/2 pump, as a little goes a really long way (the 6 oz bottle should last at least a couple of months). I love that it stays moist so you don’t have to worry about it drying out your skin. Once your time has elapsed (3 to 5 minutes), just add a splash of water to turn it into a milky liquid, and then rinse it off. It rinses off very easily and your skin will feel fantastic. It gives my skin a subtle glow.A few notes… when using as a mask you should avoid your eye area. You may feel a bit of tingling during and/or after use but that is totally normal and it is minimal. I would suggest you tie your hair up before using it (or use it before you shower) because it has a thickness to it and you will want to keep it just below your hairline. It actually feels like you are spreading honey on your face! As with every other Sweetation product I have used--the ingredients are so impressive. I continue to be surprised at how affordable Sweetsation products are.Here is a fun fact: Once you have applied it, blow on your face (either upward toward your forehead or downward toward your chin). The mask lasts for several months. A dime size really will cover your entire face. As a mask, immedietly after applying it my face feels refreshed and it gets better the longer I keep it on. I think it is impossible to be disappointed with the mask. I can not tolerate chemical products, mainly all of those available at walmart or target and even department stores. My skin thanks me everyday! When applied to the skin, it has a slight warming feeling and a beautiful oil texture. When you rinse off the cleanser, it changes to a milky lather and your skin feels comfortably clean. It smells amazing too! Sometimes I leave it on for 5 min for a peel/ masque treatment and my skin is left glowing and silky smooth. There are some fruit enzymes (pineapple, starfruit, guava and pomegranate, just to name a few) in this product along with Salicylic Acid which have helped clear up my skin tremendously!
