When I purchased the knives I ran a couple through the dishwasher and did notice tiny rust spots. I hand washed them and dried them immediately. This seems to be the ticket. When they are used they are hand washed only and immediately dried. I have had no issues with rust since. **Q: Are the blades fully forged?
