A: I tend to get LESS wear on the nut, saddle and frets/fretboard from the XS strings. I have been playing them on my acoustics since 2021, and they work great. The coating is not chemical, but rather thin polymere.

A: The half round EHR 310s are a great place to start.
Long lasting string,less scratching noise from your fingers on the string.
