The taste is horribly sweet, and sickening! **Q: Date expiration?** A: September 1, 2018. However, expiration date is irrelevant. Is it gritty?** A: Bbw, I have been using Nitro Tech for about 15 years & I can tell you I can just shake it in a bottle and it IS NOT gritty or chalky but smooth like some shakes as you say. I will get a soft lump towards the end but I am just shaking it by hand in a bottle so that's understandable. Nitotech used to be gritty maybe up until a few years ago along with most other protein shakes but they changed it and it's much better now.
