Review: Great Brand, Great Card for Simple Usage - This is a solid buy for any system that needs a dependable, low-power, high quality, and diminutive GPU. It takes up very little space, it runs cool, it runs quiet, and of course brings with it the excellent functionality of the NVIDIA control panel. It won't be rendering demanding games at high frame rates, but for basic gaming it absolutely gets the job done. It also draws all power from the motherboard, with no additional connectors required. If you're looking for a proper gaming card, you'd be better served by stepping up to a GTX 1050 ti, but if you just want to give a cheap older machine a little oomph, need a nice solution to a build without integrated graphics, or just want to fuss around with light gaming, this is your pick. You also cannot go wrong with Zotac. They are hands down my current favorite GPU manufacturer, and I go with them for every one of my purchases. One thing to keep in mind is that this card does not support NVIDIA ShadowPlay, so I ended up having to return mine once I'd realized that. Outside of that one problem, it suited all of my needs.
Review: Probably The Safest GPU for a 200W PSU - If you're considering this, most likely your case is similar to mine: You have a prebuilt PC with a proprietary 200W PSU which can't be easily upgraded, and any discrete GPU would be a big upgrade to the integrated graphics. Yes, this card should work, but I strongly recommend using a program like Open Hardware Monitor to confirm your system's power usage leaves enough wiggle room. In my case, the max power usage was around 120W so it could handle this card's 30W. That said, I still feel a bit nervous about cutting it close. Can you game on it? If you have modest standards, actually yes. It ran most games I tried at a stable 60 fps on 720p low settings, and even more demanding titles like Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade at a stable 30 fps (even though this card is technically beneath the minimum requirements). I'm pleasantly surprised that even Nintendo Switch emulation works on this card, depending on the game of course (Super Mario Odyssey was a mostly stable 60 fps, Fire Emblem: Three Houses was a mostly stable 30 fps, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was a mostly stable 60 fps except when it loaded new shaders). As for overclocking, +100 MHz core clock and +100 MHz memory clock with MSI Afterburner seemed to be safe and it could probably be pushed further, but I returned to default since I didn't want to take any unnecessary risks. Overall, this card's performance exceeded my expectations; however I feel it is overpriced. Looking at the price history, it fluctuates between $149.99 and $99.99 on desertcart (I got it at $99.99), and I would not recommend it when it's over $100.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this work on fortnite**
A: Just downloaded fort nite on my computer, dell optiplex 3050 with this exact graphics card and fort nite played just fine. No dropped frames or anything. You would be fine. My experience is unless you are playing on a graphics engine that is incompatible with a game you will be fine with the minimum spec required for said game. No issues on my end. Thanks.

**Q: Would this card be good for a htpc? i run wmc and am looking for a card that card run it at 4k.**
A: Pretty sure the other 2 answers are for gaming at 4k. As for an htpc, to watch 4k content you need a card that supports HDMI 2.0 and hdpc 2.2.

**Q: Is it really only upto ddr4 not ddr5. saw a review and its only ddr?**
A: The DDR5 listed version is DDR5. There is a DDR4 version of the card which you should avoid.

**Q: Does it run 4K**
A: Yes, this Video card runs 4K

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better than on board video (which was good)
*by T***Y on July 12, 2019*

My HP ProDesk has a good video on the mother board but I chose to install this to improve upon that. 2 GB of DDR5 should be better than DDR3 dedicated to a few MB. I bought this for the expected performance and low cost. So far I am happy, I may never tax this video card as I don't play high end games. Please note, I believe this is as good of a video card as my computer deserves. Putting a $200 dollar video card in this computer would be a waste.
