Even at this young age, she had very bad gingivitis which in Maine Coons can often result in stomatitus which will ultimately require all of the cats teeth to be extracted - a very sad situation. Fortunately a friend of mine (also a Maine Coon owner) was familiar with Maxi-Guard and suggested I try it. Fortunately Roxie our cat was willing to let us apply the product to her gums on a nightly basis (with the help of a treat or two). Withing three months, all signs of gingivitis were gone. Our pet dentist was amazed and now recommends Maxi-Guard to his other patients in a similare situation.
