## Description

The DEWALT 4 Gal. Lithium-ion Powered Backpack Sprayer has been built to outperform, outlast and finish the job in less time - with no more pumping. The lithium-ion powered backpack sprayer has Variflo® technology which allows the operator to adjust the flow for multiple applications using specific nozzles for consistent spraying. This sprayer has a deluxe harness with wide, padded shoulder straps that fit snug across the torso and curve to the contour of the user's body. An adjustable hip harness assists with weight distribution, relieving burden from the user's shoulders. Multiple nozzle tips are included for versatility in both application rates and patterns and can be stored on the included nozzle clip. Equipped with a comfort grip handle and lock-on mechanism, this shut-off system can be easily operated with heavy-duty work gloves. It includes a 50 in. heavy-duty nylon-reinforced hose and strain relief system preventing the hose from kinking at the chemical exit point. This sprayer unit is also equipped with chemically resistant Viton seals throughout to withstand the effects of harsh chemicals. Review: Good quality, and not too heavy. - Reading reviews before I purchased this, I was a little concerned because people said it was heavy. I have used both Solo and Echo hand pump backpack sprayers over the years as a Private Applicator. Honestly, I can’t say it was much heavier than either of those. I started by putting it on the back of my golf cart and driving around. It is top heavy and would fall forward if I hit a bump. Next I tried walking with it and it was comfortable and worked well. I used a DeWalt 8AH battery. I sprayed a total of 21 gallons of herbicide (5 batches and a clean-up) and there were still 2 of the 3 green lights on indicating it had only used 1/3 of the battery. I’m impressed with it and think I made a great purchase.

An additional benefit is that it seems to spray a bit faster so I spend less time spraying. I’ve used the sprayer multiple times to apply fertilizer and weed killer to my lawn. I’ve had no issues with clogging. The assortment of spray tips gives plenty of versatility for various applications. No signs of early failure, leakage, or anything else like that. Seems like it will last for years to come.

A: 5 amp batteries should work…. So should flex volt batteries.

**Q: Can this sprayer be used to seal fresh concrete?**
A: I would not use this for sealer..use a cheap one, or buy one the is made for chemicals

**Q: can I use round up in it?**
A: Yes you can put what ever you want in it.

**Q: What is the psi that is generated from this sprayer?**
A: The box says 90 "max" psi, with ** asterisks that seem to depend on which nozzle you use.

This thing is great! Obvious, holding 4 gallons puts its full weight at about 40 pounds, but it's worth it. I can spray for20 minutes straight and do the whole 50 yard driveway - no pumping and refilling, etc. -and the brown tip is perfect for roundup (was the brown intentional :) Dewalt never disappoints. ok Dewalt rarely disappoints.
