Review: Such a Good Picture Book! - This is a wonderful picture book! It is cleverly written in a rhyming format that is pleasing to the ear. The vibrantly colored, detailed illustrations complete the story and bring it to perfection. The main character, Mary is button cute! The message told through the age-appropriate activities of the Mother Goose characters - who, by the way are diverse - is one that every child should hear: it's okay to glam it up and it's okay to tone it down when the occasion calls for it.
Review: A Must Have Book! - I purchased this book a few years ago for my Grandaughter and she loves it. My niece is having a baby shower where she requested books instead of cards, I knew this was the book she needed for her little girl. It is a very good way for a child of color to see herself in a positive and beautiful way. I recommend this book to all of the little divas in my life of all colors.
