I personally hate doing that so I hide mine in fig newtons or bananas (if they like them) and feed it to them as a treat. They are none the wiser! **Q: Can you give 2 to a bigger goat** A: I bolus the goats every 4-6 months by need. Little guys get the 2 mg adults get 4mg. How often depends on your area and mineral. Also if you give it to them loose or in the capsule. **Q: Can the goats chew them in there food onstead of putting in throat** A: The copper rods inside the capsule attach themselves to the rumen, to be released into the bloodstream over a period of 8-12 months. If they are chewed, the rods can be broken by the teeth. This makes them too small to properly attach in the rumen. They will be expelled with poops.
