I like to judge a company on when things go wrong, and they passed the test there. Build quality is good, thick ceramic and solid metal fittings. It's really heavy though, you will need help to put it together, it took three adults to lift it on to the stand safely. I'm a few cooks in and still struggling to light coals consistently, that can take a while to get right. But once you are up to temperature the kamado holds heat really well managing a consistent smoking temperature for eight hours plus. The 22" model is a good size, cooked for twelve adults at once with no issues.
