Once adjusted to the user’s preference, it’s simply a matter of chucking it up in a drill and feeding cases in by hand – a pace of 10 cases per minute is pretty easy to maintain. The razor sharp high-speed cutters and the sealed ball bearing incorporated into the trimmer produce an extremely smooth cut. In most cases it will only be necessary to slightly chamfer the inner edge of the case mouth. Unlike other case trimmers the WFT does not use pilots, the case is supported by the shoulder and body of the case. Review: Works Great! - I have been using my old RCBS trimmer for some time with varying results due to too little or too much pressure. I saw this trimmer and had some desertcart points and figured it would be worth a try, all I have to say is WOW!!! This trimmer is fast and accurate to say the least. Simple setup and the repeatability is dead on. It consistently trims the cases within .001 with no effort at all. All you do is set the cutter to a shell already trimmed to the desired length and trim away. One suggestion I would make is put a small piece of tape over the two openings, that are there to expel the chips and just clean it out periodically. This will help reduce the chips from going everywhere. Well worth the money if you do a lot of reloading. Review: Excellent case trimmer - Set once using calipers and you are ready to trim. Once set you can tighten the two set screws and it will continue to trim to the length you have set. The easiest way to get your setting for trim length is to use a master case that has been sized in your dies and set to your normal trim length. **Q: This one trimmer does 3 calibers ?** A: As far as I know it's specific to 30-06 which I use it for and love it. The WFT paperwork lists 2 other specific units for the other calibers mentioned **Q: What size is the bit part, in other words how large of a drill do I need to use this? I watched a review and the guy said his drill was too small.** A: Hi, Zayne: The trimmer bit is 3/8" (10mm). The chuck on the drill I was using was too small so I had to purchase a new drill. I went to Home Depot and found and inexpensive variable speed Ryobi drill.
