Review: Great mini light pad by Photomyne ! - I always several Photomyne products. The unit retired professional photography teacher at a college level. I recommend them I own I own a larger light pad and I wanted something smaller.. so it was on sale. You can do slides negatives, black and white color. You can also put a photo on it. It’s sturdy as great brightness. It’s thin. You can flip it over and use it as a backdrop. I photograph baseball cards, small items I recommended highly all the products are worth it. They have an excellent customer service. You can connect it to any USB C I have power banks you could put it in your pocket or purse. I hope this helps you with a decision to buy it.

A: This is a light pad where you put the slide or negative on it.  You can then use any phone as the light pad itself is not connected to a phone.

**Q: Am i able to save scanned photos to a usb drive?**
A: I have tried to save directly to a USB drive but found that my typed data for those photos I identified went into separate files.  That's okay but not what I wanted.  If you have an iPhone and a Mac (computer) then you can save the photos with data directly to your "Photos" folder and then they can be downloaded to your Mac and then to a USB.   I have a PC so that doesn't work.  I have to use another method - which I haven't yet discovered.

This is a very useful tool for converting old slides to digital! It’s small, easy to use and the light is powered by a USB cord, enclosed in the package. I spent 3 days converting 50+ years of slides into digital albums in my Photomyne App. I highly recommend this device.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Viewing larger negatives and slides

I bought this hoping to use the Photomyne app to scan my 2 1/4" and 127 negatives. Well, the app isn't working working on that size. I may be missing a setting in the app, so the jury is still out. I can always just use it to backlight my flatbed scanner or take a photo and convert with software, but since this a Photomyne product it should work with the app. I'll check the settings and edit this with my findings. The light is even across the surface and the lack of an on off switch makes no difference for my use.
