High pitch tone and clicking helps deter the deer (won’t eliminate them completely but it has definitely cut down on the number of visitors we get in our yard). My husband can’t hear the tone but I have to plug my ears. My dog isn’t bothered by the tone. I meant to bring them in after the fall but now I’m interested to see just how long they will last staying outside.
