Review: Unbelievably good - I’ve spent a lot of money (really, a lot) as a real estate agent hiring Matterport guys to make virtual tours of my home listings. While the top-of-the-line equipment in the hands of an expert will still be best (and on my highest end listings, I’ll still hire out) this makes a scan so close in quality that I can do 80 percent of the homes myself without feeling that I’m shortchanging the client at all (it helps that I’m also a photographer). The biggest takeaway is that any agent at any level who isn’t willing to invest the time to create a Matterport tour of ANY listing at this point isn’t fully representing their client’s properties. It’s a cheap investment that absolutely pays off (assuming you have a high end iPhone).

**Q: I know I can download the images but is there a way to get the 3d images without the hostageware app? Photoshop?**

**Q: Can this be used inverted?(upside down)**
A: I dont think so.
1, you would need to create a way to mount it upside down bc the tripod has no clips. 
2. The weight of the phone pulling downward would likely prevent the tiny motor from rotating. 
Ive been playing with mine trying to mount it over an engine side ways- it is unsuccessful due to phone weight, but, a complete upside down- maybe. But i doubt it.

This was overall a good product, the only con was that the tripod cannot be used for general purpose. This is particularly true for the case that one wants to hook the iPhone horizontally
