I thought this book would be a pleasant way for her to learn. Imagine my delight when I discovered that it is not only pleasant reading, but also a way to learn the values that will be most important to her in later life. What could be more important for a young girl than learning how to select the perfect dress? Social skills are very important, especially for young women looking for the man who can provide them the life of which they dream. Not well written. With different WORDS this book would be adorable.We really love these step into reading books but this one, beauty and the beast and Peter Pan are all poorly written with scary scenes and/or discuss "romance". Not appropriate for this age group!We love-Sealed with a Kiss (Ariel and a seal)TangledPoppys Party (trolls)We will keep searching, because some of these books are adorable.I also do not appreciate having to pay $5 in shipping to send the books back that we do not like- that is twice the cost of the book.
