Stiff soles. Update: She loves them. *by B***9 on Reviewed in the United States on November 22, 2017* Runs big. Soles are pretty stiff, not very flexible at all. I don’t understand how shoe designers forget that our human feet naturally bend when we walk... Cute pattern and colors. Photo is for size comparison of the size 4 Toddler boot next to a size 5/6 Speedo brand water shoe (which are a little big on my daughter)! Keeping them cuz they’re cute and will probably fit my daughter in a few months or so, but dissapointed because I bought them to fit her now, in her current size 4, and they don’t seem to sell any smaller size than that.Update 2020: These actually ended up being my daughter’s favorite rain boot (she also had a pair of crocs). So once she outgrew these I bought this same style in the next size up because she liked them so much. I plan to buy another pair again in the next size up because she will soon outgrown those as well. I’m keeping my rating at 3 stars though because one pair started to tear in some areas causing her socks and feet to get wet, and now I can’t hand them down to her younger sister. They ended up in the garbage. BUT they did last a while and she wore them a lot. They lasted her two rainy seasons (fall and spring). They are also super easy for her to get on and off. Within a month my 7 yr old was complaining of wet feet. I couldn't believe it until I saw the numerous splits/cracks that were on both uppers of the boots. The back seam on one boot is completely blown out. I tried emailing Oaki, TWICE, with zero response. But they did snatch my email address and immediately begsn sending me DAILY spam/advertising. Amazon won't help me because Oaki is the seller and maker. I have purchased much less expensive boots for both of my kids and they don't have a single hole, scratch, leak even after 2 years.
