If you have red tones you need to remove the red first to use this. U can get proffesional toners for red hair might be better for you but this is hit n miss on blonde hair if u have anything more than yellow..ie orange so red just too much. I have natural red hair so can tell u most stuff makes your red look muddy..or worse green so u have option of going redder or bleaching out red down to blonde. **Q: Do you need to use developer too? In the instructions doesn't mention it....** A: No it’s just a toner and it didn’t make any impact on my hair.
