A: Yes. Olive oil has been used for centuries with the lowest smoke emitted. Other oils can be used but they smoke more. Always research before doing.

**Q: Can i use a round wick with this ?**
A: I couldn't see how. It comes with ribbon/flat type wick. The lamps are very cute though! I lite them just to enjoy them!
