No AC or batteries! The power is completely generated by the pressing of the doorbell!AMAZING!The range seems great, since the receivers ring even though they are on the opposite side (all the way in the back) of the house!So great, because I don’t have to pay electrician to put in a power line at the door or remember to change batteries!Needing to change batteries would be horrible, since if you forgot, people would ring the doorbell and leave, since you wouldn’t hear the doorbell. Also, batteries cost money. With this, you don’t need batteries at all.I like the adjustable volume and choice of different ringer tones.Plus, you can link multiple transmitters to one or more receivers.Inexpensive and works perfectly! Fantastic!I was a little apprehensive because of the low price, but since it is free returns, I ordered it and I am VERY GLAD I did!
