I have mostly soft and lps corals and a montipora cap, everything is growing and thriving so if you're just starting out or on a really, really tight budget but eager to get your feet wet so to speak it will certainly do the job. The light works well, i put it on a cheap timer, it does the basics and that's all I wanted for now. It is a tad dim at the corners depending on the size of your tank but without a dimmer or any way to adjust the lighting I put that to use by putting the lower light corals there anyway. ### ⭐⭐⭐ It's ok but needs improvement. *by J***. on Reviewed in the United States on June 14, 2017* This is an ok light. It is very bright in the center and lighter around the edges. The blue spectrum cannot be adjusted separately and you cannot dim it.
