It's fairly quite and has a good oscillation range, so is ideal at night as it provides good white noise to aid sleep. Setting 1 is a bit too weak for my liking but 2 are 3 seem powerful enough so far and provide adequate airflow. I can't attest to it's longevity as we haven't had it long enough. It was relatively simple to assemble but the tiny bolt at the bottom was fused onto the cage. Luckily we had the tools needed to remove it, but it was difficult and would have been impossible without proper tools. This would have meant that anyone else may have had to return the item due to not being able to complete the assembly.
