What happed with me is I read up on ozone and how bad it is for you.. so I got into the habit of turning it on and then running away and let it do its thing. however I never saw any results.. finally a month later I got fed up with it and smelled the water bubbler and I smell no ozone.. so I tried turning on one of the other modes and instant ozone smell.. so I think the water function never worked on the unit I got.. However it's too late to return. or amazon is making it impossible to find or contact the seller.... so turn each mode on briefly and make sure it smells like ozone.
