The Dalstrong Vahalla Series Satoku knife with leather sheath was a great purchase and I am going to grab another one from this brand and series as well. Probably the Chef’s Knife next. Such a beautiful knife and I love the sheath to protect the blade. I am so happy to have found this knife. It’s razor sharp and I sliced a tomato with it as its test case and was able to make paper thin slices. And it is versatile too. I chopped some onions effortlessly and no crushing which means no tearing up. It is just so nice to have a real knife and I can’t wait to have a second one shortly. Thank you.

Holy moly this is the real deal!! I wasn’t sure what I was going to get, but I received an amazing knife that blows me away. The Dalstrong Vahalla Series Satoku knife with leather sheath was a great purchase and I am going to grab another one from this brand and series as well. Probably the Chef’s Knife next. Such a beautiful knife and I love the sheath to protect the blade. I am so happy to have found this knife. It’s razor sharp and I sliced a tomato with it as its test case and was able to make paper thin slices. And it is versatile too. So after reading a few reviews saying the blade is not razor sharp i was a little concerned. However i purchased anyway. I cook all the time and my equipment is important to me. This knife is mint, balance , weight, feel, cutting angle all spot on and i love it. BEWARE - Who said it wasn’t sharp out the box?!!! So after using the knife for the first time and prepping dinner for the evening i washed the knife and while drying it off it slipped out my hands and landed on my thumb. Fortunately i had a bone in my thumb or id probably have lost it. Glue and stitches later i was home from A&E. WOW what a knife i love it and i can confirm its razor sharp!! Best knife i have ever purchased.
