I've tried a few garlic presses over the years, and the OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Garlic Press is by far my favorite. It takes the mess out of pressing fresh garlic and works like a charm every time. The handles are comfortable to grip, it presses cloves with very little effort, and cleanup is quick and easy. If you use fresh garlic often, this is a high-quality kitchen tool that's well worth having. Highly recommended!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great overall but not really "easy clean"

I bought this to replace my IKEA Vardefull garlic press which was super easy to clean but had finally broken after 10 years of use and has been discontinued. I decided to try this OXO based on the good reviews. Pros: - Feels weighty and solid. - Great ergonomics--seems easier to squeeze than other garlic presses I have used. - Garlic comes out well minced, and there is relatively little waste in the cup or squeeze-out around the sides. - Decently priced compared to more premium options Cons: - I don't really see the benefit of the swiveling basket as it does not provide any more access than if it were attached to the handle. What's worse is that the basket has open seams along the sides where garlic tends to get stuck, so you need a toothpick to get it out. (As an engineer, I actually think this is a cost-saving measure as it allows for a less expensive 3-piece stamped/folded metal design instead of a 2-piece die cast, but it is being marketed as a "feature".)
