**Q: Will this work for a salt water fish tank?**
A: Yes, I assume you mean emptying the tank. But you should pump non saline water through it after use.

**Q: Can this pump out the water in my sump if I need to replace it?**
A: Yes! It does not replace a sump pump, but it will move some water.  I pumped my 35 gallon tank for my trailer in 7 minutes.  The pump comes with 2 male fittings on it.  You may need to get a 3/4 to 3/4 female garden hose fitting to adapt one side of the pump.

**Q: What battery do you need?**
A: 12 volts, I I purchased plug in 120v . extremely sad performance. Only very light duty. I feel that I wasted the money the pump is so light duty May as well use it for an aquarium pump. If you need to do an important task then perhaps consider a different pump.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good pump but did not work out for me

It is as good as any other 1/10 hp water pump you can get. Under my circumstances I was only able to get a little over 2 gpm flow rate which was not adequate for my needs. I had a 3/4 outlet going into a 5/8 standard garden hose. This pump is a good price and it did lift the water but the flow rate was just nowhere near the 4.4 gpm advertised even under ideal conditions.
