Si es compatible con AMD freesync, si tienes tarjeta AMD, va super genial con adaptive sync. Cambié desde un Samsung curvo qled del 2017 1080p@144hz, y la diferencia es abismal. Mi Radeon rx vega 64 (2018) no da más de 120hz, ni más de 8bits de color en 4k con display port (ignoro si es por la antigüedad, o el cable DP). Super satisfecho con la calidad de este monitor
Review: Excellent spec for the price - Thank god for this monitor at this price point. This is by far the best monitor you can get for the price. I've been looking for a 4k Gaming monitor for a long time and as of writing this review, they normally run for $1000+. The picture quality is so crisp and clear, I'm shocked I ever gamed on anything other than 4k. The general build quality of the monitor is very nice as well. It comes in two separate pieces(well protected and padded) so install is fast. The stand is heavy and sturdy, with two thumb screws on the bottom which makes it super easy to mount the monitor. Some small things, however, the build quality of the buttons on the side of the monitor feel a little flimsy (wiggle), but still provides a satisfying click when pressed. The RGB in the logo is not too bright either if you're in a moderately lit area. So if you're looking for a hardcore RGB monitor to match your rig or something, you may as well splurge for a monitor at a higher price point. tl;dr PROS: - Price (unbeatable I swear to you) - Refresh Rate (as advertised 144hz) - Response time (as advertised 1ms) - Colors (Supports HDR) - Picture Quality (Very clear 4k) Cons: - Nit pick (the buttons are a little wiggly) - RGB (not super bright)

**Q: The fact that does not have DisplayPort 1.4 is an issue for future proof matters?**
A: No. Display port 1.2 is sufficient got 1440p monitors 170hz. Display port 1.4 is only needed when using 4k resolution this monitor does not offer.

**Q: Freesync/ adapative sync over hdmi? or dp only ?  really important question i need anwsered. asus told me they do. i literally had to buy hdmi to dp.**
A: DP only

**Q: I know Asus monitors, sometimes have an issue with their ventilation and the monitor can be pretty loud, has anyone noticed if this is loud at all**
A: Mine doesnt get loud but it does get quite hot.

**Q: Is Gsync active at 170hz?**
A: Yes, although I keep mine at 160hz. While playing Red Dead Redemption 2 I experienced some slight flickering when the screen turned mostly white at the full 170hz
Although in counter strike and other games I had no issues. Monitor is insanely awesome! Was skeptical at first of the price tag, but now that I have it I couldn’t go back!

Also easy to switch from different Monitor speeds on the fly. So going from 170 to 160 or 144 and back is quick and simple.

Thank god for this monitor at this price point. This is by far the best monitor you can get for the price. I love how crisp the image is when playing games. Also use it to watch tv series and movies. HDR is great. Although, for some reason HDR makes everything dark. Don't know if that's supposed to do that. Without HDR bright, colourful. I play PS5 and Switch on it. Definitely recommend.
