I ordered these tongue depressors as the cost for the quantity was one of the lowest and reviews were good. These are good thick sticks with length that makes it easy to reach our tonsils easily. They are very durable and function exactly as we need them too. We both have way less redness and irritation after using these to remove our stones as the wood does not slip when applying pressure like our toothbrushes were. Love the quality, quantity and price! They are smooth enough for oral exams or for applying creams and ointments, and they are strong enough to be good for all sorts of craft projects. Since they are individually wrapped, you have to open the paper to use them. That is not a problem - just tear the end of the paper and the tongue depressor comes right out.
