A: No battery built in

A: Absolutely. I sold my play 5 gen 2 and picked up the 350 this week. I am completely blown away by how awesome the 350 sounds. The play 5 is not a bad speaker by any means but the competition has gotten a lot better.

**Q: Do you need an app for using the speaker 150?. Need it for guests in Airbnb so simple Bluetooth connection needed only**
A: Hi
An app is useful for setting them up in the first place but it is possible to connect them via Bluetooth via a button on the back.
Daily usage via Airplay or Bluetooth does not need the app.
Firmware updates (which happen every few months or so) are done via the app.

**Q: Can it charge 12v**
A: This speaker is not fitted with a battery and has to be connected to the mains electrical supply (230-240v) to function, also needs to be connected via Wi Fi or Bluetooth or audio cable for signal to play. It probably would work through an inverter (12-230) for use in a vehicle though.

I bought this item through Amazon Retail, only had it less than a month, continued issues trying to connect on WiFi and even using WEP, unstable connection and returned the item in the end.

### ⭐⭐ Terrible Connectivity

The subwoofer is lovely when it works... unfortunately, most of the time it doesn't connect to the soundbar and the only way to get everything working again is to switch the power off from the mains and restart. This is something that was happening on pretty much a daily basis. I tried everything I could to fix the issue, from moving the sub right next to the soundbar, to connecting it to the Internet via ethernet cable, and changing the wireless connection settings. Nothing worked so unfortunately I sent the subwoofer back. A real, real shame, because when it did work, it sounded absolutely lovely paired with my DHT-S716H. The build quality is top notch, it looks good, it sounds good, it's even easy to set up. All of that means nothing if it won't connect properly in the first place! Very disappointed
