This was really a problem in Florida but in Illinois we fortunately or unfortunately have a winter season. I would not do it but that would be up to you. But of course I always wondered how much heat things were subjected to in the shipping process to the various stores, **Q: what is the expiration date on this product?** A: Just ordered some in January 2018. Expiration date: February 2019. **Q: Are these drops thicker than normal drops?** A: No, they seem the same as other drops **Q: Can you use with soft contacts** A: Do not use while wearing contacts. Wait 15 minutes after using before inserting contacts. When wearing contacts I use Blink Contacts which are specifically made for use with contacts. I find that they do not irritate my eyes like other brands do.
