Review: Longevity - I have had this over a year now and use it in an outside water fountain that I am not always good at maintaining. I go months without cleaning the base and am known to allow it to run dry now and then. None of it bothers this pump. I've paid much more for them. None as good as this one. Every time I think I've fried it, it proves me wrong. I unplug it for a quick sec and it kicks back in as good as ever. If clogged, I add a few drops of algae killer and it cleans itself.

Not sure what else is out there, but this thing is awesome because it can come apart and you can clean it very easily. My only problem is that it has issues getting the water flowing sometimes for no reason. Not sure if it's so faulty unit or what, but water flow is very important. But AC infinity has been nothing but beautiful and to its customers. I would go with these people over anybody else in a heartbeat. You look good doing it
