Unless I misunderstood this question and you are asking if it has like like pencil lead...but that's a no too. **Q: How do I put the ink in the pen?** A: You dont put ink “in” this glass pen, its one solid piece. Like old calligraphy quills, you just dip the tip of the pen into ink and start writing. Of corse several dips into the ink are necessary while in use, you will start to be able to gauge the needed amount of ink you use when writing. **Q: Approximately, what is the size of the write point? 0.7 mm?** A: On mine it’s between a 0.5mm and a 7.0mm. Each one varies. **Q: Is the pen complete when it arrives home?** A: It comes in a box and is well preserved. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good pen *by H***R on 17 March 2026* Well packaged for safe delivery. This glass pen glides so smoothly on any paper ,and holds a substantial amount of ink ! I had purchase my first glass pen at an art store but it kept skipping and did not hold ink as well as this one does. I'm very happy with this new pen! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to use . Compatible with various mediums *by V***. on 22 June 2026* The color on its nib is because of my last use . This is a good product Although it needs just the right amount of viscosity. If its ink is too watery. It doesn't write well on page . Too thick and then the ink doesn't flow at all. And because it is a glass pen . It scares the paper a lot . Sometimes damaging the paper . Otherwise it's a good product for beginners as well as a good gift. Writing with it has a really good feel . The ink that arrives with it can be revived with water . So if you use it's ink and write something and it gets wet. The ink would bleed . I've used the product with watercolor and gouache . It worked well with both of them . ## Frequently Bought Together - AOKUY Glass Dip Pen Set,Calligraphy Pen,Crystal Signature Pen for Art, Writing, Signatures -Decoration and Business Gift - Glass Ink Pen Set, Luxiv Glass Dip Pen with Ink and Pen Holder Art Crystal Glass Pens for Signatures, Business Christmas Gift Glass Ink Pens (Purple, Basic) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/411770631-zhl-glass-dip-pen-set-calligraphy-pen-signature-pen-writting](https://www.desertcart.us/products/411770631-zhl-glass-dip-pen-set-calligraphy-pen-signature-pen-writting) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
