Fabulous quality, seems very sturdy so will hopefully last well. Lovely and soft. The zip is great and it has a bit that velcros over it so the entire mattress and zip end is encased. The quality was so good I went and bought more as mattress protectors for the beds in my own home.

I was worried about the struggle that was forthcoming, trying to zip a cover over a mattress to stop the dust mite having a party ... however, it slid on quite easily and zipped up rather easily. I had tried AllergyUK.org for a recommendation, but their site was broken. After emailing them they came back with ACP Solutions (astexallergybedding.co.uk) with it's minute pore size of 5.9 microns and 10-yr guarantee, so perhaps I should have waited, but this encasement seems to do the job despite not mentioning pore size of a guarantee and ACP Solutions website was also broken and Amazon is so much easier to buy from. Perhaps the House of Emily could provide additional information on the pore size and other benefits.
