However on the tires that I use the piece of equipment works just fine. I do have some tires that I had trouble getting off in he past soo I practiced on them to see it it would work. So... if you don't have trouble mounting tires, then you're better off with old fashioned tire levers. BUT... if you sometimes have trouble installing (I use Gatorskins on tubeless compatible rims, so yeah) then this tool is very handy to have. If you've ever been stuck at the side of the road wrestling with a tire, then $16 seems worth it. This tool can mount a tire alone without having to juggle tire levers.
