Review: Love these! - Incredibly comfortable, not overly hot, and the perfect length I wanted. For reference I am 5'2" and approximately 180ish pounds with a very much so post partum mom body. The large fits great, holds me in in my midsection in a way I love, and falls just at the bottom of my knee (where you would hit for reflexes). I feel like I could have size down if I wanted a slightly tighter fit but I love the pair I got. The fabric is thick, like a sturdy material, but very breathable. I find these more comfortable than my "butter soft" shorts or similar style. Because of the material quality, these pass the squat test and are not see through. These were quick drying when I went on a water ride and did not rub in weird ways. These wash easily, have held up really well, and have become my go-to shorts. The pockets are deep and can fit my S23 phone easily without sticking out. I have also been able to hold an iphone (whatever model is the current) without the phone showing or falling out. I appreciate there are two pockets because not all shorts in similar style offer two. These are well worth what they are priced at and what I paid for them but I would love to be able to catch them on sale. I could happily replace most of my shorts with these.

**Q: For those who have purchased the White leggings….are they thick enough and pass the squat test?**
A: NO THEY DO NOT PASS THE SQUAT TEST, nor any other test! It's a single layer fabric, if it was double layer like the pockets, then probably. If you wear any panties you will see them, any color you can see through them and don't you dare wear a design pantie cause EVERYONE  will see them! But other than that they are nice and comfy and I just wear a long shirt to cover my bum! (Maybe after my next wash I'll post a picture to show that the white is not thick at all)

**Q: waistband details do these have elastic band at top of waist rather than continuous spandex?**
A: It seems a thin elastic band is embedded at the top of the wide waist band, probably for an extra support. The wide band itself is made of spandex which is stronger than the leg part.

**Q: Do these shrink at all if put in the dryer?  I'm ok if they do, mediums are a little big on me and small is pretty tight.**
A: Mine shrank in the waist. Now they are uncomfortable when I sit down.:/ Only the waistband got too small, though, so if you are small waisted you will love them. Perfect in every other way! Even as a very active 68 year old my tiny waist is long gone, but I normally wear a medium and bought a large to accommodate my tummy if my housekeeper threw them in the dryer as she often does. I’m sure the x-large would swallow me, though, so I just suffer slightly and do my planks and sit ups in hopes of improvement!:)

Comfortable. Nice deep pockets. My normal size fit perfectly. Edited 8/16/25 I ordered these in white because I really love the black ones. These fit me well and are comfortable and roomy. I might order another one size smaller for more support. I love the size of the pockets and that it has a pocket on both sides. My phone fits easily along with my hand. The material is thin but not see through.
