How can I get this without buying two sets of this item and wasting the extra 2x84" ?** A: Not really sure except to buy it! You’ll have extra in case something happens to the ones you install!! Hope this helps! I use this product all the time! Easy to install **Q: Can this be used as a door stop moulding by itself or should it be installed on top of pre existing stop moulding?** A: I think it’s designed to be installed onto the mounding. By itself it can easily be removed. It is also quite thin and the seal would not make a great stop for the door. **Q: what is Q-LON** A: It is vinyl covered foam weatherstrip. Its the foam piece. **Q: Can this be used if there is a screen door?** A: Should not ne a problem. This is for doors that are not kerfed out for regular Qlon and is to replace the screw on bulb type weatherstrip on older doors.
