How sturdy is it? I was wondering if it would hold up if it's full of wooden track.** A: It holds up great! My son keeps all this tracks in it and though we really have to many for it at this point, it is a fun storage box, that works great! **Q: Can the train be separated from car?** A: Yes! Is connected by a small piece of rope which can be removed. Much easier to pick up a basket of train pieces and move to where child is playing when they are not connected. I actually bought 4 sets of these and use one engine and just the cars from the other sets for a long train. Holds a lot of grandsons Thomas, keeps train stuff organized, easy to find pieces he needs in smaller containers and looks cute in the room. Wish they would make sets with more than one car.
