I used this all around our pool. The deck is nice natural greyed up wood (old, sun beat and reused 1 million times) and it did take an hour or so to dry ( in the hot sun) but after that, no prob, beads water off awesome! BTW, totally went swimming cuz forgot I sealed the decking bout hour and a 1/2 in, didn't matter tho the sealant was already dry. I have a white wood color so I don't want it hidden w grain or color. Ty!** A: I used took my indoor small kitchen island cart outside and to protect it I spray painted the Thompson water seal on it. I gave it 3 coats and let it sit in our 100 degree sun.
