It's in tight! The tube will come out from the white ring, then cut to your size. Just remember it still needs to fit over your dogs head. **Q: Any suggestions how I can keep my dog still long enough for the collar to recharge? I don’t wanna leave her charging overnight.** A: The collar should be removed from the dog when charging the batteries. **Q: Where are the directions? package came with just the product** A: There are none. Be careful, when charging it it started smoking and melted the wires. Could have started a fire . I did a review of the product and included pictures **Q: is there a charging light to see when charging is active or complete?** A: You can see a red light when they are charging. The blue collar the red charging light is not visible on.
