It gets brought out and played with every day. It’s essentially latex coated sponge but it’s really robust and solid. It’s been swung around and hit against a number of things and it’s held up with no damage to either the axe or the item being ‘axed’! Had to fit the head of the axe onto the handle, which was tough but just means it’s not going to fly off anytime soon. I’d say the cost wasn’t particularly cheap but then it’s a decent play thing that will define last.
