**Q: Can i use this indoors,and can i use fire wood as fuel**
A: Maybe. 

I am assuming you are talking about putting this inside a fireplace or wood burning oven or something that has ventilation designed for wood fire. I don't see why that wouldn't work but it seems in general like a weird/bad idea without knowing more details I am going to say no to inside, yes to wood.

**Q: What worked best:briquettes or lump charcoal? Grate low or high position?**
A: I haven’t tried lump charcoal.  The briquettes worked fine.  I found it worked best by not filling the fire box to capacity.  There doesn’t really seem to be two grate positions.  There are four pedestals to elevate the grate above the fire box,or alternatively you might, by skewing the grate, rest it on the fire box.  I found that grate on pedestals with less than full load of charcoal and adjusting the air flow worked well.

**Q: would i be able to use as a smoker**
A: If you want to add some smoke flavor to burgers, sure you could figure something out with metal bowl or something. If you want to smoke some brisket or ribs low and slow all day, not a chance/not worth the difficulty level.

**Q: Do they make a cover or lid for it?**
A: They sell a 9x13 stainless lid here on Amazon . People seem to like it for flattop outdoor grills . Doesn’t cover full lodge surface , but works pretty well . Fits almost perfect width wise .Get the one with the adjustable vent on top . I bought a 2 pack for  like $6 more.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The All-American hibachi

After throwing out a succession of the stamped metal Weber's that have their issue with rusting away and other problems. I wanted to get something more hibachi like. Your multiple Chinese models that look okay but they're so cheap you just wonder is that the real thing. Got a lot of Lodge cooking stuff and it's all made pretty good which proves America can at least make an cast iron pan. Hibachi kicks ass it's much more spiritual and easy to cook a small meal on. The grill is super thick metal and it just actually grills and Cooks meat beautifully and delicately and leaves little marks it's an experience. It's a little fussy you get out have to get used to cleaning it and oiling it and all the things you do when you love a piece of cast iron. The reward is after it gets really well seasoned it Cooks a damn good meal.
