Clearly.Obviously not for long conversations. I tend to leave my phone at home when running a quick and close errand. My wife and kids have this SECOND NUMBER that comes with SIM Card. It's LITERALLY a second phone/line.If this suits a need you have, highly recommended. Whatever minutes I do not use in a calendar year, are rolled over into the next year. I have rarely used HALF the minutes T-Mobile gives with the $99. annual plan.CAUTION: TO GET YOUR ROLL-OVER MINUTES, YOU HAVE TO RE-UP your plan with T-Mobile, BEFORE THE ONE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY DATE!
