No muss - No fuss - No walls to bust HOW TO INSTALL THE G-CLIP STEP ONE Turn off power at the fuse box. STEP TWO Check for NO power at the device and remove the cover. STEP THREE Remove the cover plate. Unthread the 2 screws. Pull the device away from the electrical box. STEP FOUR Center the G-Clip over the damaged hole. STEP FIVE Push the G-Clip onto the box. A: Yes.   The website states that the G-Clips can be used on multi-gang boxes.  Visit www.g-clip.us.   Please also check that your box is plastic and has the approximate wall thickness specified on the website.

**Q: Do these clips work with "Cheetah" (Leviton now) outlet boxes?  These boxes and outlets use a ratcheting anchor, which are no longer available.**

Had a light switch go bad, and when replacing it, the screw hole(?) broke off so I couldn't tighten the switch into the box. Let the plate do some heavy lifting until these arrive. Took 2 seconds to snap in and the screw bit perfectly. You'd never know at all from the outside that anything wasn't just the same inside the box. Saved so much trouble and money as I'm a long way from a DIY kinda guy.
