My tween daughter has been wanting some since they are the "in" thing right now apparently. I was happy I found them on amazon and didn't have to drive all over town looking for them. They fit well - we ordered a half size larger than she normally wears and they are perfect for her. It appears the sandals are made out of one type of material. There are no connecting pieces. The soles have some give to them and she loves wearing them.
