I have thick curly hair & these brushes work so much better than the expensive brushes for curly hair that I’ve bought previously. Obviously if you have thick curly hair there’s always going to be some resistance when brushing your washed wet hair but it’s nothing compared to other brushes I’ve used where it’s like your being scalped just trying to brush your hair. Once I’ve brushed my hair yes these always going to be hair on the brush but seriously it’s nothing on this brush compared with others.
