A: Hi, great question and thanks for asking! We have BCAA (branch chain amino acids) in just about all GU products. BCAA's refer to the three essential amino acids — leucine, valine, isoleucine. BCAA’s are metabolized in the muscle and help by preventing the breakdown of muscle tissue during and after exercise. Leucine, the most important amino acid, is critical in initiating the protein synthesis, the process through which your muscles rebuild and get stronger. **Q: Can anyone report on the shipping time for the Variety Pack? Estimated delivery date is the 7th. Can't believe it takes that long...**
A: Hi David! The ship time would depend on where you live. We are located in Upstate New York so our ship times would vary based on your distance from the upper east coast. Although it usually doesn't, shipping to the west coast could very well take a full week.

**Q: Are the "assorted flavors" the ones that are pictured?  I ordered a box before from Amazon and it was different.**
A: I have purchased the assorted flavors box three times, and each time it has been different. I have never received all the flavors pictured. I have always gotten some vanilla, chocolate, salted caramel, espresso, mandarin orange, strawberry banana. The number of each will vary, and the other flavors I get have also varied (e.g. sometimes I get blackberry or tri-berry, other times I don't). I have also gotten flavors that are not shown at all there. I have found that I do have a preference for some flavors, so now I order the boxes of the flavors I like.
