It is excellent around the mouth area, on the fore head or side of face though! For the lips, this is not the best product, because it is a gel. This is a gel formula, which will dry on the skin and is EXCELLENT for shingles, rashes, etc. Works great on the neck, body, face, etc. Not so great for the lips, as it is a gel and dries.
