Can be used with or without the armrests. It was perfect for using in our walk-in shower in the weeks after I came out of hospital and was unsteady on my feet, so it did exactly what we needed it to do. I felt confident relying on it for support - and it's surprisingly comfortable. So even though I no longer *need* it, we're keeping it in the shower, as it's nice sometimes to just sit there and use the shower head by hand. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good value *by T***V on 8 April 2026* Easy to assemble, safe in use, smart, durable. An honest product and good value. Shower-friendly and adjustable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality shower chair. *by K***R on 25 December 2023* I had a basic shower chair which was ok but, being over 60, decided to get something more robust whilst I recuperated following a hip replacement. This chair is easy to assemble, comfortable and, most importantly, robust. FYI I'm 6' 2" & 15st. The arms have rubber grips which reduce "grip slip" and the feet are soft rubber which haven't moved in use. The foam padding has stayed on for the month I've been using it but I suspect this may fall off when it fully dries out. If so it'll be easy to stick back on. All the fixings are thumb turns so when disassembled for storage nothing will get lost. I was expecting a lot for the price and I wasn't disappointed. ## Frequently Bought Together - Shower Chair with Arms,Anti Slip Design w/ Padded Handles Shower Seat Perching Stool,6-Level Height Adjustable Shower Stools for Elderly, Disabled, Pregnant, Adult - Aidapt Raised Toilet Seat and Frame.Height,Width Adjustable,Non-Slip Ferrules,Toilet Surround,Integral Armrests,Push-Pin Adjustment,No Tools Required,Minimal Assembly,Elderly,Hip Surgery Recovery - Drive Devilbiss Folding Lightweight Aluminium Walking Frame with Wheels --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/404741854-shower-chairs-for-the-elderly-shower-chair-with-arms-anti](https://www.desertcart.us/products/404741854-shower-chairs-for-the-elderly-shower-chair-with-arms-anti) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
