PLEASE NOTE: It is not advisable to stack the EZclassic Whelping Box Panels if you have large, heavy dogs. Increased height will provide additional leverage and could result in tipping a box over. A few of our customers have purchased 2 sets of the boxes to make and stack (36" height") whelping area. To connect the bottom panels and the top panels, they use a 3/4" wooden dowel rod (35.5" length) in each of the post panel connectors. With your french bulldog being a little bit on the larger end, you may find that the 48x48 whelping box is going to work best for you. It is plenty large enought and will possibly even have space for you to be in the box with her during the whelping. The medium size, 38x38, generally works well for most french bulldogs but does not allow much by way of extra space (it's more cozy.)
