## Overview

tesa Ultra Power Extreme Super Duct Tape delivers industrial-strength adhesion with a waterproof, UV-resistant fabric that excels on rough surfaces. Measuring 10 meters by 50 mm, it’s hand-tearable for quick, durable repairs indoors and outdoors, withstanding temperatures up to 90°C. Trusted by professionals and DIYers alike, this tape combines premium quality and ease of use for reliable, long-lasting fixes.

## Description

From the manufacturer Overview tesa’s success story starts with the unsuccessful development of an adhesive bandage. Paul C. Beiersdorf, a pharmacist, was at work on the bandage when Dr. Oscar Troplowitz took over the lab from the company’s founder in 1890. The bandage adhered excellently, but was irritating to skin. Troplowitz made a virtue of necessity and, in 1896, launched the first technical adhesive tape. About Us The brand name tesa goes back to the secretary Elsa Tesmer, who from April 1903 to the end of October 1908 worked as a clerk and head of the office for the Beiersdorf company in Hamburg. She created the brand name from the first two letters of her last name (Te-) and the last two letters of her first name (-sa).

### ⭐⭐⭐ So so: thick tape, mediocre stickiness / flexibility
*by J***N on 9 November 2024*

This is very thick tape, I think that is what makes it 'ultra Power'. I was not impressed by its adhesiveness/glue, it wouldn't stick well to rubber materials. The tape itself is very thick which would make it more durable I guess, however this makes it less flexible and wrapping it around something didn't turn out nice. If you are looking for thick tape that's expected to have a lot of grinding wear, then this would be a good choice. Do take into account the downsides I described earlier.
