My stove got very hot and burned well with the damper closed and the air controls tightened shut after replacing the the old combustor. Before I replaced the the old combustor the stove was not burning well; not getting hot like it use to. This one didnt smoke or allow smoke to leak like the old one did. I am glad I ordered this new combustor.
